I hope you are all well and had a fantastic Summer! I have been getting many inquiries about Holiday Mini Sessions this year and I would like to sincerely thank you for your loyalty and for checking in! Holiday minis in the past have been incredibly fun and I love seeing all of your smiling faces each and every year! However, due to family commitments and being extremely booked up with regular sessions this year, it is with mixed emotions that I let you know that I will be unable to do Holiday minis this year. Perhaps next year I will figure out a way to reintroduce Holiday minis!

Can you believe that Holiday Mini Sessions are just around the corner?!?!
Last year's mini sessions were so much fun and such a huge success that I have decided to add a couple of extra days this year! Mini sessions will be scheduled on the first two weekends in November (November 4 & 5, and 11 & 12), as well as a couple of weekday evenings/late afternoons (November 3, 8 & 9) in order to accommodate those who have weekend conflicts.
This year, in order to go all out and provide the ultimate mini session experience, there will be one big and absolutely amazing setup! The specifics are TBD, but rest assured, this year's backdrop will be fantastic!! More info will be given in the weeks leading up to the mini sessions.
For booking your session, once again, there are two options:
1) Family Holiday Mini Sessions for up to 6 immediate family members - $229 + hst, 20 minutes long
2) Children only Holiday Mini Sessions for up to 4 children - $189 + hst, 20 minutes long
The session fees listed above include your choice of 5 high resolution digital photos out of a gallery of approximately 8 photos. Additional photos may be purchased à la carte for $30 + hst each, or you may purchase the entire gallery for $50 + hst.
You may book your session here before your desired time slot is taken!

That time when you log in to your update your blog and realize your last update was before the 2016 holidays - yikes! Yes, that would be me at this very moment. As usual, things have been busy in my neck of the woods. BUT, as some of you may have noticed, I have completely revamped my website! And with new websites come new blog posts! Well, let's be realistic...new blog post (singular) because I haven't been too good at blogging over the last year.
Anyway, I am SUPER DUPER EXCITED to share my new website with you! Have a look and let me know what you think!
Also, back in June I took on a personal photography project and photographed as well as filmed my oldest daughter (the platinum blondie in the fuchsia below) and seven of her friends. I dressed each of them in a different colour of the rainbow and thought it would be SO easy and fun. It was definitely fun, but easy it was not. I mean, who assumes that photographing seven year old girls, eight of them to be exact, is easy? Apparently me ;) Worth it? Heck yes!!! Check out this video!!! I am in love with the way it turned out!
And here are a couple of my favourite photos from this rainbow themed session with these adorable little seven year olds.
On a different note, I now include montage films/videos with all of my indoor lifestyle sessions. I adore film and how it captures those precious family moments in real time. Time to get excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This year's Holiday/Christmas mini sessions are sure to be AH-MAZING!! This year there will be two setups - one on a darker backdrop with mostly white decor and twinkle lights, and the other with a couch and a more simple, "airy" backdrop. Both setups will be able to accommodate families. I'm really excited about these setups and know that you'll love them as much as I do!!
Mini sessions will be scheduled on the last two weekends in November. Similar to last year, there are two options -
1) Family Mini Sessions for $195 +hst = $220.35. These mini sessions are for immediate families of up to 6 people and include parents!
2) Children Only Mini Sessions for $170 +hst = $192.10. These mini sessions are for up to 4 children in the same immediate family and do not include adults.
Both options include 5 digital images of your choice, out of a gallery of approximately 8 photos, with the option to purchase all 8 images for an additional charge (after you see the gallery of course).

Well, here I am! After over a year of blog slacking and not posting any of the wonderful sessions I shot, I am attempting to catch up! Let's start with this cutie - he was such an adorable little guy...who is now over a year old and I can't even begin to imagine how much he has changed!
Next up is this sweet family! I had so much fun with them, even though there was quite the chill in the air that day (I can't believe I remember that and it's been over a year since I shot this session)!

TWINS!!!!! How I love twins!!! I imagine that they're a ton of work, but wow, do they ever make for amazing photo subjects!
Next up is this cute teddy bear! Don't you want to hug him? Love those cheeks!!!!
This little girl, whose newborn photos I did a year before this shoot! I also got to see her at my 2015 Christmas/Holiday Mini sessions! She has grown so much and is still as sweet as ever! One of my (many) favourite things about my job is seeing how much babies grow and change!
Recognize this little guy? He's the same "football" from above! It's crazy how much a baby can change in only a few months! If you can't tell, his parents are huge sports fans! GO LEAFS GO!
This family was tons of fun as well! Daddy earns major bonus points for getting his wife a family photo shoot for Mother's Day (I hope my husband is reading this...)!!
And how I miss this wonderful family!! They were SO amazingly nice and fun to hang out with!! Their baby is adorable as well!!

Aaaaaaaand we're back...
This little one was beyond adorable! She was such a gorgeous baby and her parents were so sweet and loving to both her and each other. It makes me smile to see such a happy family!
And last, but certainly not least, the adorable baby pictured above's Auntie, who is also my very close friend, Ashleigh and her perfect family! They are expecting their third baby - a boy this time, in a few short weeks!! I'm so excited to photograph him when he makes his big debut!

Let's travel back to last Fall and the beautiful Fall colours that surrounded us! Ah, how pretty. Add a perfect little baby and her beautiful family to the mix and you've got yourself a beautiful set up for a photo shoot! This gorgeous family's photo shoot started off in my studio and ended in the beautiful outdoors! How cute is baby Ella???

Arya may not be as little as she was in these photos (this photo shoot was a while ago, as I'm still getting caught up on blogging), but there's no doubt in my mind that she is still a cute little baby! Shortly after doing Arya's Mommy's maternity session, Arya entered the world and I visited her and her beautiful family at their lovely home! Here are some of my favourites from this lifestyle newborn session. I have to say that I'm really, really loving lifestyle photography! A family in their natural environment doing natural things - you simply can't top that! These are the types of photos that families will cherish for years to come!
